The Pawtuxet Village Farmers Market has opened for the summer and is bringing fresh food and produce through October 28 every Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon at 60 Rhodes Place in Cranston.
Open for their second weekend of the season, the market opened this year on May 6. Each week hosts full time vendors as well as pop up vendors who only join the market occasionally. Vendors pay a $50 application fee and a $40 fee each week they attend.
The Market accepts: Cash, Fresh Bucks, SNAP/EBT, WIC FMNP Coupons, WIC Fruit & Vegetable Coupons, Seniors’ Coupons We also participate in the Bonus Bucks incentive program: use your SNAP benefit at the market and get $2 free for every $5 you spend.
Those who visit the market week to week can expect to find fresh produce, microgreens, baked goods and a variety of meats depending on which week they visit. As the market grows over its summer season food trucks and other vendors are expected to make an appearance as well.
