PROPOSED ORDINANCE 03-24-02 IN AMENDMENT OF TITLE 2 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF CRANSTON, 2005, ENTITLED “ADMINISTRATION AND PERSONNEL” (MINIMUM WAGE)
It is Ordained by the City of Cranston City Council as follows:
Section 1. Section 2.80.010 in Chapter 2.80, entitled “Administration and Personnel,” is hereby amended to read as follows:
Personnel: 2.80.010 - Salaries.
Except for those positions specifically created by the charter or the code, the number and classification of employees of the city shall be established by the annual salary ordinance. The minimum wages of employees of the city of Cranston, except for high school students, school department employees, and employees of Cranston Public Libraries and temporary summer workers, shall not be lower than twelve dollars and seventy-five cents ($12.75) fifteen dollars ($15.00) per hour effective January 1, 2021 2025.
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect upon its final adoption.
