Frank R. Andreozzi passed away on Tuesday, August 9 2022 at home surrounded by his loving family.

He was the beloved husband of Catherine (Binns) Andreozzi for 50 years, before she passed away in 2015.

Born in Providence, He was the son of the late Rocco and Amelia (Gemma) Andreozzi. A graduate of Hope High School, he later joined the Army and served in Korea. Upon his return, he attended Providence College and graduated with a degree in Business.

He had many fond memories and told colorful stories of working at his father’s store, Gemma’s Market in Providence, as a young child through adulthood. Upon its closing in the mid 1980’s, Frank began a rewarding 20-year career as an Associate Professor at Johnson and Wales University.

Considered by many to be an exemplary teacher, as evidenced by his Robert M. Nograd award 2 years in a row.

He is survived by his 3 sons, Frank, Curt (Meredith), Todd (Elizabeth) all of Cranston.

Being a loving grandpa to his 5 grandchildren was his greatest joy.

He leaves his sister Irene Triangolo (John) Carolyn Andreozzi and is predeceased by his brother John.

He also leaves many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The family will receive family and friends on Thursday, August 18,2022 from 9:00am-9:30 am, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30am in St. Joseph Church,854 Providence Street, West Warwick.

Burial with Military Honors will follow in Pawtuxet Memorial Park, 100 Harrison Avenue, Warwick.
