Condé Nast Traveler recently announced the results of its annual Readers’ Choice Awards with Rhode Island T. F. Green International Airport recognized as “5th Best Airport in the United States based on traveler rankings and reviews. Earlier this year, Rhode Island T. F. Green International Airport was also named in the “Top Three” of both the USA Today’s “Readers’ Choice Best Small Airports” for 2021 and “Top Three” in Travel Leisure’s “World’s Best 2021” Awards for Top Domestic Airports.
Rhode Island T. F. Green International Airport is the only airport in the Northeast to place in the Top Five for all major travel magazine airport rankings. The Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards are the longest-running and most prestigious recognition of excellence in the travel industry.
“Once again all who travel through Rhode Island T. F. Green International Airport have honored us with their support in achieving this recognition,” Iftikhar Ahmad, President and CEO of the Rhode Island Airport Corporation (RIAC) said in a statement. “This award brings significant national recognition to Rhode Island T. F. Green International Airport and provides a helpful boost to Rhode Island’s travel and tourism industry as the state and nation continue our recovery.”
