Frank John Greene, 69, of Auburndale, FL, passed away on November 23, 2024, surrounded by his four children.
Born on February 24, 1955, Frank was known affectionately as a gentle giant by those who knew him best.
Frank proudly served in the Navy during the Vietnam War, where he demonstrated his dedication and courage. After his military service, he returned to his roots and worked for the City of Warwick as a maintenance employee, a role he committed to diligently until his retirement.
Frank's hobbies included riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle in his younger years, sitting by the water, and making improvements around his home, each of which brought him great joy and relaxation.
Frank leaves behind a loving family including his daughter Jessica Greene-Fratus and son-in-law Michael Fratus; son Christopher Greene and daughter-in-law Heather; son Frank Greene and daughter-in-law Katie; daughter Amanda Mello and son-in-law David; 12 grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; brother William Greene; and sister Margaret Greene. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank O. and Helen T. Greene, and his brother Kenneth Greene.
A celebration of Franks life will be held in the future. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude in his memory. His gentle spirit and heartfelt dedication to his family and community will be dearly missed.
