The season of joy has arrived, and the recently reopened Historic Park Theatre & Event Center is delighted to welcome a series of 8 holiday themed events to Cranston, Rhode Island. Celebrate the magic and the season with a festive lineup of shows including Rocky Mountain High Experience: A John Denver Christmas Starring Rick Schuler (Nov. 22), A Christmas Carol with Gerald Dickens (Dec. 2), Safe Haven Ballet’s The Nutcracker (Dec. 6), The Irish Tenors: A Family Christmas (Dec. 8), Judy Collins: Holidays & Hits (Dec. 13), A Night with Jose Feliciano (Dec. 20), The Tenors: Christmas with The Tenors (Dec. 21), and Irish Christmas in America (Dec. 22).

ROCKY MOUNTAIN HIGH EXPERIENCE:  A JOHN DENVER CHRISTMAS STARRING RICK SCHULER – Friday, Nov. 22 at 7:30 p.m.

Rocky Mountain High Experience: A John Denver Christmas starring Rick Schuler, America’s Top John Denver Tribute, is an intimate experience that will take you back to the ’70s when John Denver’s music permeated the radio airways.

A CHRISTMAS CAROL WITH GERALD DICKENS
Monday, Dec. 2 at 7:30 p.m.

Kick off your holiday season with Gerald Dickens’ spirited adaptation of his great-great-grandfather’s classic, ‘A Christmas Carol’. Gerald has been delighting audiences for over 30 years with his unique one-man show where he brings Charles Dickens' beloved holiday story to life right before your eyes!

SAFE HAVEN BALLET PRESENTS THE NUTCRACKER – Friday, Dec. 6 at 6 p.m.

Safe Haven Ballet is thrilled to bring our spirited, full-length ballet of The Nutcracker to The Historic Park Theatre in Cranston! This dynamic performance includes all of your favorite characters including a strong-minded Clara to the eccentric Drosselmeyer, the spooky Rats, as well as our beloved Sugarplum Fairy danced by artistic director, Lissa Curtis. In the Land of Sweets you will be introduced to a variation unique to Safe Haven Ballet called The Brave American. Come sing and clap along to this spirited, patriotic piece!

Safe Haven Ballet is the first Trauma Informed professional ballet company, pre-professional school and (501)(c)(3) nonprofit that exists to offer free trauma-sensitive ballet, movement and art classes to survivors of sexual/domestic violence and trauma, as well as create uplifting and inspiring ballet performances.

THE IRISH TENORS: A FAMILY CHRISTMAS
Sunday, Dec. 8 at 3 p.m.

The Irish Tenors have been the acknowledged Celtic music kings since they burst upon the scene during a 1998 special. With ten best-selling CDs to their credit, they share company with the likes of The Three Tenors and Andrea Bocelli as the biggest money makers PBS has presented. They have blazed the trail from coast to coast stopping in nearly every city in between; thrilling audiences at every single stop with their enchanting Irish repertoire, sweeping secular selections and dynamic holiday fare.

JUDY COLLINS: HOLIDAYS & HITS
Friday, Dec. 13 at 7:30 p.m.

Judy Collins has inspired audiences with sublime vocals, boldly vulnerable songwriting, personal life triumphs, and a firm commitment to social activism. The award-winning singer-songwriter is esteemed for her imaginative interpretations of traditional and contemporary folk standards and her own poetically poignant original compositions. Her stunning rendition of Joni Mitchell's “Both Sides Now” from her landmark 1967 album, Wildflowers, has been entered into the Grammy Hall of Fame.

A NIGHT WITH JOSE FELICIANO
Friday, Dec. 20 at 8 p.m.

A Name That is Synonymous with MUSIC. It is synonymous with an international presence that has influenced popular music for two generations. It is synonymous with a presence that has bridged musical styles in a way that has never been equaled. José Feliciano is recognized as the first Latin Artist to effectively cross over into the English music market, opening the doors for other artists who now play an important role in the American music industry. José Feliciano is also recognized as the famous songwriter of the Christmas classic, Feliz Navidad, which is one of the most downloaded and aired Christmas songs in the US.

THE TENORS: CHRISTMAS WITH THE TENORS
 Saturday, Dec. 21 at 7:30 p.m.

The Tenors have been thrilling fans around the world for years, with their powerful songs, outstanding harmonies, and undeniable charm. Performing symphony shows and concert tours, their distinct sound reimagines iconic hits and blends classical music, contemporary pop, classic rock, folk and inspired, self-penned original songs. This show will feature music from their recently launched 6th album, Christmas with The Tenors.

IRISH CHRISTMAS IN AMERICA
Sunday, Dec. 22 at 3 p.m.

Bringing Irish spirit to the holidays since 2005. The hugely popular Holiday show Irish Christmas in America returns in 2024, bringing a fascinating performance of music, song, dance and stories of seasonal Irish traditions.
