The Region Church, which holds its ceremonies every Sunday at 11 a.m. at the Historic Park Theater on Park Avenue, held its “We love our city event” this past Saturday, July 15, at Doric Park.

As part of the celebration this year, the church had their third annual Burgers+Basketball event. Attendees were given the chance to register and play in  3v3 games with two age groups, under 16 and 16 and over. A total of 15 teams, made up of 37 people, registered. The event has been held at Dutemple Elementary in the past and was held at Doric Park for the first time with a strong turnout. (Photos by Steve Popiel)
