On August 22 Thirsty Beaver Hometown Pub & Grub, 288 Atwood Ave., played host to a pet adoption event that included trivia, raffle prizes and adorable dogs. With the combined efforts of pet adoption groups Friends of Homeless Animals RI (FOHARI), Harbin Animal Rescue and Vintage Pet Rescue, a parade of adoptable furry friends were given a chance to show off their loving nature before an audience.

In order to raise money in support of the efforts of these organizations dedicated to helping pets in need of homes find loving caregivers a raffle was held with over 20 prizes up for grabs for whoever had the winning tickets. “Wag-tastic” trivia was also featured where questions were refocused on dogs and other animals to match the theme of the night.
