It’s Go Time as Warwick voters head to the polls

Posted

As of the Warwick Beacon’s deadline this week, more than 7,000 Warwick residents had cast their votes in the general election that will conclude next Tuesday. There has been a steady stream of voters since early voting commenced Oct. 16.

“I enjoy it because it’s great that people want to vote,” said Florence Parisi, who has served as a poll worker for about the last 15 years. “And that’s what we want. We want people to come and vote.”

According to the Warwick Board of Canvassers, early voting takes place at Warwick City Hall weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., ending Monday, Nov. 4 at 4 p.m. A photo ID is required. Polls are open across the city on Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 5 from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
