Janice Beaucage, age 72, of Warwick, passed away on Saturday, May 8, 2021 at Kent Hospital. She was the partner of James F. Gendron for 43 years.
Born in Pawtucket, she was the daughter of the late George M. and Fernande R. (Barrette) Beaucage and she lived in Warwick for most of her life. Janice was employed as a Director of Sales Planning & Analysis at MetLife Auto & Home Insurance Co. on Quaker Lane in Warwick for over 30 years before retiring in 2009. She was an avid gardener, seamstress, and a fabulous cook.
In addition to her partner, she is survived by a sister, Jeanne E. (Jack) Beaucage-Roberge of West Warwick; two nieces, who she raised, Joelle A. Beyer of West Warwick and Brandy J. (Geoffrey) McKinnon of Providence; and two grandnephews, James and Daniel McKinnon. She is also survived by David Beaucage, Brea (Mason) Trapp, Carli Gaul, Fiona and Maeve Trapp & Debra Beaucage. She was the sister of the late Joanne M. Beyer and George F. “Chuck” Beaucage.
Her funeral will be held on Monday, May 17, at 9 a.m. from the Barrett & Cotter Funeral Home, 1328 Warwick Avenue, Spring Green, Warwick, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Rita Church, 722 Oakland Beach Avenue, Warwick. (Facial coverings and social distancing will be required.) Visiting hours will be on Sunday, May 16, from 3-6 p.m. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, West Greenwich.
