Joseph P. Rainone, 62, died Thursday October 28, 2021. He leaves behind his loving wife Ann Marie (Giarrusso) Rainone and her children Jonathan D’Amico, Ashley Mesiti and Tessa Pellegrino, as well as their beloved granddaughter Arabella Mesiti. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Joseph “Chick” and Shirley A. (Chappron) Rainone, Jr. Joseph resided in Warwick for most of his life and has lived in North Providence for the past 12 years. He was employed as a shipping and receiving supervisor at Warwick Poultry for 30 years. Joseph is also survived by his brothers Ronald Rainone and his wife Karen and William Rainone. He was the son in-law of Victoria Giarrusso and brother in-law of Michael Giarrusso and his wife Lynda, Christine Pilz and her husband Walter and Stephen Giarrusso and his wife Lori. Joe comes from a very large family who brought great joy to his life and leaves many aunts and uncles including Aunt Anna Mansolillo and Uncle Angelo Rainone, nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins and his many friends. Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial Saturday, November 6, 2021 at 11am in St. Kevin Church, Sandy Lane, Warwick. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, P.O Box 100 Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38148, will be appreciated.
