Lorraine V. (Lambert) Guertin, 94, died June 4, 2011 at Rhode Island Hospital. She was the wife of Norman Strobel and the late Mitchell Guertin. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Leon and Agnes (Chartier) Lambert. Lorraine was formerly employed as a plater in the jewelry industry and a laundress at West Shore Health Center. Besides her husband she is survived by four children, Vivian R. Manchester, Eileen V. Hartmann, Alfred J. and Robert A. Guertin; a sister, Rose Messier; 15 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Lois D.Ansaldi. Her funeral service will be held June 8 at 10 a.m. in Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Chapel, 2435 Warwick Ave. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visitation is June 8 from 9-10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions to American Lung Association, 260 West Exchange St., Ste. 102B, Providence, RI 02903 will be appreciated.
