Rates on the rise!!

As expected for 2022, we are starting to see a changing Real Estate market with the recent interest rate increases and promises of more to come.

Although a 5-6% rate seems high compared to the last few years of historic lows at 2-3%, the current rates are still considerably low and affordable for many qualified buyers.

Seller inventory remains low, although slightly increasing from the past year.

If you’re in the process of buying a home, it’s more important than ever to have a strong plan. Partner with a trusted real estate advisor and lender to strategize so you can achieve your dream of homeownership.

3D printed homes?
Who would have thought?

We’ve come a long way with technology for the home over the past 50 years.

From microwave ovens, digital thermostats, energy efficient appliances and mechanics to WIFI, smart tv’s, video surveillance etc.

But who would have thought of the ability to build a home from a 3D printer???

Well, here we are in 2022 doing just that!

The process is a combined effort of the designers, plumbers, electricians, roofers etc. and automated process for footings, pouring foundations, interior and exterior walls. 3D printing process allows for an efficient, ecofriendly, cost effective way to keep the product affordable and less time consuming with less waste.

Taking home décor outdoors

Planning gardens for color throughout the year

Spring flowers and gardens are really starting to pop with beautiful colors to compliment your property.

When planning your landscape seek professional advice for best plantings for your local climate.

Think about your lot size and shape, and plan your desired trees, shrubs, flowers and mulch for optimal viewing pleasure.

It is nice to see some color in all seasons. Even in Winter months you can enjoy landscape colors. Evergreens, like Arborvitaes that are pretty all year are a nice low maintenance choice. They can be kept trimmed for garden compliments or grown tall for privacy. Holly shrubs are also nice year round greens with beautiful red berries when planted correctly. Boxwood shrubs are pretty as well.

Best of all these are great cuttings for wreaths, garland and other decorative accents to bring indoors all year. Add these greens to flower arrangements to keep your home cheerful during dreary Winter months.

Spring blossoms on trees like Dogwoods, Cherry Blossom, and Magnolias are nice for early Spring color along with Azalea and Forsythia shrubs. Tulips, Hyacinth, Daffodils, Crocus and Grape Hyacinth’s are pretty early Spring perennial’s that are pleasing to the eye. and some offer wonderful scents as well.

Daylillies, Hydrangeas, Dianthus, Roses, Daisy’s and so many others are Summer perennial’s that will keep your yard looking beautiful without a lot of work.

Fall flowers like Aster, Sedum, Black Eyed Susan, Mum’s and of course Sun Flowers will bring beautiful color in cooler weather.

Whatever you choose will be beautiful and make you and your neighbors happy to enjoy the work of art you have created.
