Mary Susan (Dromgoole) Collamati, age 73, of Harrisville, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her family, on Wednesday, May 18, 2022. She was the wife of Ernest M. Collamati.
Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Paul L. and A. Rita (Gallogly) Dromgoole, she lived in Harrisville for the last 42 years.
Susan was employed as an office manager for Almacs for 30 years before its closing. She later worked in the office of the Dean of the Medical College at Brown University in Providence for almost 10 years.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Derek M. Collamati and his wife Kelly, of Coventry; a daughter, Melissa M. Reddy and her husband Ryan, of Las Vegas, NV; a sister, Rita M. Johnson of North Kingstown; a brother, Paul L. Dromgoole, Jr. of South Kingstown; and two grandchildren, Mary-Olivia Collamati and Eamon Joseph Reddy. She was the sister of the late Eileen D. Ferranti.
Her funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 11, at 11 a.m. in the Barrett & Cotter Funeral Home, 1328 Warwick Avenue, Spring Green, Warwick. Relatives and friends are invited, and may visit at the funeral home on Saturday from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in Pawtuxet Memorial Park in Warwick.
