Mixed Magic Theatre Artistic Director Jonathan Pitts-Wiley has announced the company’s online program schedule for May, June and July.
“We look forward to sharing air and passion and joy with you online,” he said. “Please join us – plan a watch party and bring friends and family to partake in and get to know the ‘Magic.’”
On Friday, April 24 at 7:30 p.m., Pitts-Wiley will host the live stream of Ricardo Pitts-Wiley’s lively talk about Mixed Magic Theatre’s upcoming online events.
On May 1, Mixed Magic will launch its theater at a distance with its online programming, which will be presented on the first and third Friday of the month through July.
The online schedule starts May 1 with “Voices in the Night,” the poetry of “Radio Golf” phenom Ricardo Pitts-Wiley, featuring some of Rhode Island’s most talented guest artists. This event will be followed on May 15 by Mixed Magic Theatre’s very popular “Rise to Black” series, which is a monthly themed showcase featuring black and brown talent.
There are no tickets, but donations make a difference and can be made at mmtri.org. Check the website or Mixed Magic’s Facebook, Twitter and Instagram for more information.
