The Alpine Country Club donated $1,650 to the Victoria Alviti Music Foundation after their annual Thanksgiving Day Charity Golf Tournament. Proceeds from the nine-hole golf day benefit music education. The Victoria Alviti Music Foundation is named for the Cranston native who died in a tragic car accident at the age of 22. A DJ and musician, Alviti told her mother, Sharon Alviti, shortly before her death that she wanted to do something to keep music in schools. Sharon and her other two daughters have kept that promise to Victoria, offering music classes and other music-related educational opportunities to Rhode Island students. (Submitted photo)
