FROM STAFF REPORTS myRITV is Rhode Island’s new television home of the New England Revolution as the club and station announced today a new local broadcast partnership ahead of the 2021 Major League Soccer season.

All of the Revolution’s 30 regionally televised matches during the 2021 MLS campaign, beginning with the season opener on Saturday, April 17 at Chicago Fire FC (8:30 p.m. ET), will be available over-the-air on myRITV. Click here for channel listings. In addition, the Revolution are scheduled to play four nationally televised contests during the regular season.

“We value our long-standing partnership with The Kraft Group here in Rhode Island and Southern Massachusetts,” said Patrick Wholey, Vice President and General Manager of WPRI 12, FOX Providence, the CW Providence, and myRITV. “We are committed to televising events important to our community and are excited to air the New England Revolution games on our myRITV affiliate. We look forward to growing with the team as the sport’s popularity grows in our local area and around the country.”

In the Boston area, Revolution matches will be televised locally on CBS Boston, airing on a combination of WBZ-TV (CBS Channel 4 Boston) and myTV38. All regionally televised MLS games are streamed live for out-of-market subscribers on ESPN.

“Our partnership with myRITV gives us a great partner in Rhode Island and helps round out our coverage across New England,” said New England Revolution President Brian Bilello. “We look forward to working with myRITV to bring New England Revolution soccer into the homes of our devoted fans throughout Rhode Island.”

Brad Feldman and Charlie Davies will return for their second season together in the Revolution broadcast booth, joined once again by Naoko Funayama reporting pitchside. Revolution matches will continue to air locally on the Revolution’s flagship radio partner, 98.5 The Sports Hub (WBZ-FM), as well as via the club’s Brazilian-Portuguese radio partner WBIX 1260 AM Nossa Radio USA.

After opening the regular season on April 17 in Chicago, the Revs will return to Foxborough to welcome fans back into Gillette Stadium for the 2021 home opener on Saturday, April 24 vs. D.C. United. The home opener kicks off at 8:00 p.m. ET.
