NAMI Rhode Island is the local chapter of National Alliance on Mental Illness, the nation’s largest grassroots mental health organization.

During the COVID-19 crisis, and going forward, NAMI-RI is proud to be a national leader by offering a virtual presentation of NAMI’s highly regarded Family-to-Family education program. All NAMI Rhode Island virtual programming has been made possible by a generous grant from the COVID-19 Behavioral Health Fund.

Family-to-Family is a free, eight-session program for families, friends and significant others of people living with mental health concerns. The course includes such topics as communication, problem-solving, treatment, recovery and an overview of mental health conditions.

This virtual course is facilitated by a team of trained family members of people living with mental illness. The facilitators will guide you to better understand, advocate for and support your loved one while maintaining your own and your family’s well being.

For more information on this evidence-based program and/or to register for an upcoming course, please visit namirhodeisland.org/meetings-schedules/classes, call NAMI-RI at (401) 331-3060 or email beth@namirhodeisland.org.
