What is a Memory Café? A Memory Café is a comfortable, social gathering that allows people experiencing memory loss and a loved one to connect, socialize and build new support networks. Social interaction with other people is a vital component to their health. For more information, call 780-6254.

Vitamin D & Your Immune System

URI Pharmacy Outreach ProgramVitamin D is essential to the health and functioning of our immune system. What are the signs and symptoms of a Vitamin D deficiency and how does it affect our immune system? Be sure to join us for this very informative presentation.

Picnic at Colt State Park

Introduction to Medicinal Oils

URI Pharmacy Outreach ProgramEssential oils are natural extracts from seeds, roots, flowers and other parts of a plant. They have been used throughout history and are well known for their medicinal and therapeutic benefits. At this class, you will learn about which oils are useful and how you can benefit from their properties.
