URI College of Pharmacy Outreach Program
Besides taking prescription meds many self-medicate with over the counter drugs and herbals. Add to that foods and beverages that interact with medications. All can increase the risk of a drug interaction. Our Pharm D students will discuss how can we avoid these interactions?

Research has found that dancing improves muscle and bone strength, while lowering the risk of injury. Moreover, the improved posture, balance and motor skills encouraged by Ballroom Dancing can help prevent falls. And it is fun!
“A Fall Prevention Program”
Tuesdays and Fridays – 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Beginning April 12 ending May 6
If you are concerned about falling; interested in improving your balance, flexibility and strength; if you have restricted activities because of falling concerns then this class is for YOU!
