Norma F. (Rollinson) Harris


Norma F. (Rollinson) Harris, 82, passed away Sunday, January 10, 2021 at Rhode Island Hospital. She was a daughter of the late Robert T. and Anna (MacInerney) Rollinson.

Norma was employed at Fleet Bank in the safety deposit division and was a receptionist at Hinckley Allen & Snyder Law Firm. She was a communicant of St. Paul Church and a member of the Legion of Mary. From the time she was a little girl, Norma had an undeniable bond with the Blessed Mother Mary. In difficult times, she leaned on her faith to find strength and comfort. She embodied love, compassion, sacrifice and strength for all of us to learn from. Norma enjoyed walks through the park and by the water to visit "her swans" but mostly the times she spent with her family.

She was the beloved mother of Lori Baribault, David and his wife Lisa, Joseph Jr., Daniel and his wife Lisa, Robert, and the late Timothy Harris; sister of Robert W. Rollinson, Sr. and the late Barbara Connors, and the devoted Grandmama to Timothy and his wife Bekah, Jon-Michael, Sara, Kylee Rose, Cameron, Caleb and Jacob.

A visitation will be held Friday, January 15, 2021 from 9-10 a.m. in St. Paul Church, Broad Street, Edgewood, with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 10 a.m.

Burial will be private in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence. Face masks are required and social distancing will be observed.
