Randy Quinlan Orr, 70, of Warwick, passed away on Friday, November 22, 2024, at Kent Hospital with his devoted wife by his side. He was the loving husband of Jeanne M. (Lemlin) Orr of Warwick for forty-seven years. Born in Warwick, he was the son of the late Richard Newton and Elizabeth (Eagle) Orr.
Randy worked as a Master Plumber for over thirty-five years and was the Head Custodian at the Hannaford School in East Greenwich until his retirement in 2021. He was an avid collector of albums and enjoyed adding to his collections; he loved anything by the Beatles. Randy had so many memorabilia in his music room and would spend hours listening to his records. He even sound-proofed that room so he could enjoy music the way it was meant to be played. He was the best daddy to his three beautiful four-legged kids, Maggie, Sassie, and Neo, who are now waiting for him to get extra treats.
Randy and Jeanne enjoyed many cruises together and met wonderful people with whom they formed long-lasting friendships; they had planned on scheduling more trips in the future. They had just returned from a cruise up the coast to Canada in October. Randy and Jeanne were best friends for their entire life together.
Alongside his beloved wife, Jeanne M. (Lemlin) Orr of Warwick, he is survived by many beloved nieces and nephews.
He was the brother of the late Richard N. Orr, Jr. and Robin H. Orr.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 8, 2024, from 11:00AM-1:00PM concluding with a Funeral Service at 1:00PM at THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Warwick.
