POSSESSION OF DRUGS

On April 14 at 9:54 p.m., officers arrested Erik Dame, 33, of 919 Bullocks Point Ave., East Providence, on two counts of Possession of Schedule I-V (Under 10 Grams) – 1st Offense. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop in the area of Park Avenue and Leslie Street. Dame was awaiting arraignment.

DUI/DRUGS/ALCOHOL

On April 14 at 7:57 p.m., officers arrested David Canzonieri, 70, of 422 Central Ave., Johnston, on charges of DUI/Drugs/Alcohol/ 2nd Offense – BAC Unknown and Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test. The arrest was the result of a call for service at 235 Atwood Ave. (Dunkin Donuts). Canzonieri was awaiting arraignment.

VIOLATION OF NO CONTACT ORDER

On April 13 at 6:35 p.m., officers arrested Caitlyn Jones, 31, of 122 Colonial Ave., Cranston, on a suspected Violation of a No Contact Order. The arrest was the result of a call for service at the aforementioned address. Jones was arraigned and remanded to the ACI as a bail violator.

STOLEN MOTOR VEHICLE

On April 13 at 8:58 a.m., officers arrested Jihua Wu, 50, of 49 Walnut St., Johnston, on a charge of Possession of a Stolen Motor Vehicle. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop in the area of Phenix Avenue and Flower Street. Wu was arraigned.

RECKLESS DRIVING

On April 12 at 4:46 p.m., officers arrested Michael Rafael Pimentel Chalas, 33, of 12 Togansett Rd., Providence, on charges of Reckless Driving, Drag Racing, Eluding Police – 1st Offense and Obstructing an Officer in the Execution of Duty. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop in the area of 630 Reservoir Ave. Chalas was arraigned.

DOMESTIC SIMPLE ASSAULT

On April 12 at 12:30 a.m., officers arrested Raymond Simmons, 22, of 36 Blais Ave., Cranston, on charges of Domestic Simple Assault and Domestic Disorderly Conduct. The arrest was the result of a disturbance at the aforementioned address. Simmons was awaiting arraignment.

POSSESSION OF DRUGS

On April 11 at about 4:46 p.m., Officer(s) arrested Damian Peterson, 28, of 245 California Ave. Providence, on charges of Possession of Schedule I/II (under 10 grams) - Fentanyl, Possession of Schedule I/II (under 10 grams) - Methamphetamine, Weapons other than Firearms Prohibited, and Resisting Legal or Illegal Arrest. He also had an outstanding arrest and affidavit warrant from this department for Obtaining Money/Goods under False Pretenses and Passing of Counterfeit Cert/Bills/Notes. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop at the intersection of Reservoir Avenue and Beckwith Street. Peterson was arraigned and transported to ACI Intake as a probation violator.

ASSAULT

On April 11 at 8:11 p.m., officers arrested Basilios M. Basilios, 68, of 50 Birch St. # 908 on charges of Assault on Persons > 60 Causing Bodily Injury and Disorderly Conduct. The arrest was the result of a call for service at the aforementioned address. Basilios was arraigned.

DOMESTIC VANDALISM

On April 11 at 9:42 p.m., officers arrested Caitlyn Petracca, 31, of 122 Colonial Ave., on a charge of Domestic Vandalism. The arrest was the result of a call for service at the aforementioned address. Petracca was arraigned.
