SHOPLIFTING

On April 20 at 8:38 p.m., officer(s) arrested Kara O’Rourke, 32, of 192 Parkside Dr. Warwick, RI, for shoplifting. The arrest was the result of Warren PD turning her over on an arrest and affidavit warrant out of this department. O’Rourke was awaiting arraignment.

SHOPLIFTING

On April 19 at 10:45 a.m., officer(s) arrested Dennis Prout, 55, of 133 Fordson Ave. # 11 Cranston, RI, for shoplifting felony. The arrest was the result of a call for service at 1011 Cranston St. (Dollar Store). Prout was arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and Transported to the ACI Intake as a Probation Violator.

DUI

On April 19 at 1:34 p.m., officer(s) arrested Yohan Hernandez Gomez, 36, of 236 Vermont St. Providence, RI, for DUI-B.A.C Unknown and Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle accident in the area of Narragansett Blvd., and Norwood Ave. Gomez was awaiting arraignment.

SHOPLIFTING

On April 17 at approximately 5:06 p.m., officers arrested Stephen Mello, 42, of 51 Remington Farm Dr. Coventry, for Shoplifting. The arrest was the result of a call for service at 247 Garfield Ave. (Lowes). Mello was arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and released.

OBSTRUCTION

On April 15 at 7:51 p.m., officers arrested Markea Smith, 31, of 545 Park Ave., for Obstructing Officer in Execution of Duty. The arrest was the result of Narragansett Police Department turning her over on an arrest and affidavit warrant out of this department. Smith was arraigned by the Justice of the Peace and transported to ACI Women’s Intake as a violator.
