Assault

On 3/16/23 at 1256 hrs., Officers arrested Sebastian Gomez, 20, of 101 New London Ave. # 163 Cranston, RI for Felony Assault by Use of Devices Similar to a Firearm. The arrest was the result of an ongoing investigation by the Criminal Investigations Unit which occurred at Franklin Ave. and Whipple Ave.

Possession of Stolen  Vehicle/Parts

On 3/18/23 at 1339 hrs Officers arrested David Durlach, 29 of 171 Hopeferry Rd, Waterford, CT, for Possession of Stolen Vehicle/Parts Goods. Arrest was the result of a FLOCK hit which resulted in a motor vehicle stop.

Receiving Stolen Goods

On 3/18/23 at 0757 hrs Officers arrested Jason Blais, 41 of 1840 New London Turnpike, West Warwick, RI, for Receiving Stolen Goods. Arrest was the result of a FLOCK hit which resulted in a motor vehicle stop.

DUI/DWI

On 3/15/23 at 0406 hours Officers arrested Juan Bautista (44) of 20 Ball Avenue, West Warwick, for DUI (BAC unknown) and Breathalyzer Refusal. The arrest is the result of a call for a male passed out behind the wheel of his vehicle at the intersection of Chapel View and New London Avenue.

On 3/16/23 at 2054 hours Officers arrested James Herard (46) of 137 Vinton Ave. Cranston, for DWI – 1st Offense – BAC Unknown and Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test. Arrest is the result of a call for service at 799 Natick Ave.

Breaking and Entering

On 3/16/23 at 0755 hrs., Officers arrested Antonio Esparra, 32, of 11 Malcolm St. Cranston, RI for Domestic Breaking and Entering w/out Consent and Violation of a No Contact Order. The arrest was the result of a disturbance at 55 Lincoln Ave.

On 3/19/23, at approximately 1720 Hours, Officers arrested Albert Parenteau, III, (49), of 941 Dyer Avenue, Cranston, RI, for (1) count of B&E Dwelling House W/O Consent. The arrest was the result of a suspicious activity call at 180 Warwick Avenue.

Bench Warrant

On 3/15/23 at 1205 hrs. Officers arrested Mario Maldonado-Otero, 49, of 23 Barrows St, Providence for a Superior Court Bench Warrant and Giving False Document to Agent, Employee, or Public Official as a result of a traffic stop on Route 10.

Disposition of Arrestee: Arraigned by Justice of the Peace and transported to Men’s Intake

Shoplifting

On 3/19/23 at 1259 hrs., Officers arrested Renee Iamarino, 48, of 460 Charles St. Providence, RI for Shoplifting. The arrest was the result of a call for service at 1776 Plainfield Pk. (Walmart).

Vandalism

On 3/16/23 at 0920 hrs., Officers arrested Adam Tillison, 37, of 101 New London Ave. # 163 Cranston, RI for Vandalism. The arrest was the result of a disturbance at 8 Chapel View Blvd. (Shaw’s).

Failure to register

On 3/19/2023, at 0209 hrs. Officers arrested Bruce Peavy (69) of 130 Chatham St. Apt. #25 North Providence for Sexual Offender Registration Required. The arrest is a result of Providence Police taking him into custody for a Cranston Police arrest affidavit.

Disposition of Arrestee: Held awaiting arraignment as a violator.

Disorderly Conduct

On 3/17/2023 at 0000 hours, Officers arrested Jorge Garcia-Quezada, 33, of 984 Cranston St. APT 2R, for Domestic Simple Assault and Domestic Disorderly Conduct. The arrest was the result of a disturbance call at the aforementioned address.
