DUI

At 1:47 a.m. on May 7, Cranston Police arrested Joseph Ferreira III, 39, of 23 Aldrich Ave., Apt. 1, Cranston, on charges of DUI – BAC Unknown (first offense), Driving with a Suspended License (third or greater offense) and Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test. The arrest was the result of a traffic crash at Oaklawn and New London Avenue. Ferreira was held overnight awaiting morning arraignment.

At 3:16 a.m. on May 7, Cranston Police arrested Tiffany Adams, 18, of 180 Salem End Drive, Framingham, Massachusetts, on charges of DUI – BAC >.15 (.151 and .164, first offense), Obstructing an Officer in Execution of Duty and Resisting Legal/Illegal Arrest. The arrest was the result of a call for a vehicle that had driven onto a lawn, struck a mailbox, fled the scene and subsequent traffic stop at Oaklawn and Wilbur Avenue. Adams was held overnight and awaited morning arraignment.

At 3:16 a.m. on May 7, Cranston Police arrested Emily Brady, 19, of 25 Georgetown Drive, Apt. 10, Framingham, Massachusetts, on charges of Disorderly Conduct. The arrest was the result of a call for a vehicle that had driven onto a lawn, struck a mailbox, fled the scene and subsequent traffic stop at Oaklawn and Wilbur Avenue. Brady was held overnight and awaited morning arraignment.

At 12:37 a.m. on May 6, Cranston Police arrested Bernabe Hermenegildo, 34, of 59 Chase St., Apt. 1, Beverly, Massachusetts, on charges of DUI - BAC Unknown (first offense). The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop in the area of 1155 Park Ave. Hermenegildo was held for arraignment.

 

ASSAULT

At 9:56 p.m. on May 8, Cranston Police arrested Elivandro Jesus, 35, of 40 Poppy Drive, Cranston, on charges of Domestic Simple Assault and Domestic Disorderly Conduct. The arrest was the result of a disturbance at the aforementioned address. Jesus was arraigned by the Justice of the Peace.

At 5:02 p.m. on May 8, Cranston Police arrested Randy Martin, 25, of 106 Lookout Ave., Cranston, on charges of Domestic Simple Assault and Domestic Disorderly Conduct. The arrest was the result of a disturbance at the aforementioned address. Martin was arraigned by the Justice of the Peace and transported to ACI Intake as a bail violator.

At 1:53 a.m. on May 7, Cranston Police arrested Jacob Perez, 19, of 91 Moorland Ave., Cranston, on charges of Domestic-Simple Assault/Battery and Domestic-Disorderly Conduct. The arrest was the result of a disturbance to the rear of Willowbrook Apartments’ building 15. Perez was held overnight and awaited morning arraignment.

At 1:53 a.m. on May 7, Cranston Police arrested Isabella Rodio, 18, of 825 Pontiac Ave., Apt. 16-303, Cranston, on charges of Domestic-Simple Assault/Battery and Domestic-Disorderly Conduct. The arrest was the result of a disturbance to the rear of Willowbrook Apartments’ building 15. Rodio was held overnight and awaited morning arraignment.

 

 

WILLFUL TRESPASS

At 10:37 p.m. on May 3, Cranston Police arrested Dean S. Lozow, 66, of 219 Grand Ave., Apt. 19, Cranston, on charges of willful trespass after warning, simple assault and resisting arrest. The arrest was the result of an investigation at 40 Glen Ave. Lozow awaited arraignment.

 

SHOPLIFTING

At 5:02 p.m. on May 7, Cranston Police arrested Christina Paliotti, 31, of 24 Lakeview Drive, Narragansett, on charges of Felony Shoplifting. The arrest was the result of a call for service at Bob’s Store on Oaklawn Avenue. Paliotti was arraigned by the Justice of the Peace and transported to ACI Women’s Intake.

At 12:30 p.m. on May 3, Cranston Police arrested Andrew Silvestri, 27, of 18 Highland St., West Warwick, on charges of Shoplifting and Conspiracy. The arrest was the result of a call for service at 275 Warwick Ave. Silvestri awaited arraignment by the Justice of the Peace.

At 12:30 p.m. on May 3, Cranston Police arrested Ashley Weiss, 27, Homeless in the Post Road Area of Warwick, on charges of Shoplifting, Conspiracy and Violation of Protective Order. The arrest was the result of a call for service at 275 Warwick Ave. Weiss awaited arraignment by the Justice of the Peace.

 

 

WARRANT

At 2 a.m. on May 9, Cranston Police arrested Ryan Tellier, 46, of 17 Clinton St., Taunton, Massachusetts, on a Cranston Police arrest warrant for shoplifting (felony). The arrest was the result of a Rhode Island State Police arrest. Tellier awaited arraignment.

At 9:30 p.m. on May 8, Cranston Police arrested Ashley Jankowski, 29, of 24 Winward Circle, Warwick, on an outstanding arrest and affidavit warrant out of the Warwick Police Department. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop in the area of 900 Phenix Ave. Jankowski was turned over to Warwick PD.

At 8:35 p.m. on May 7, Cranston Police arrested John Kittila, 55, of 85 Briggs St., Apt. 906, Cranston, on a Third District Court bench warrant. The arrest was the result of an attempted pickup at the aforementioned address. Kittila was arraigned by the Justice of the Peace.

At 11:13 a.m. on May 6, Cranston Police arrested Robert McGuirk, 34, of 205 Adams St., Warwick on a Warwick Police Arrest Warrant as a result of a traffic stop at 1586 Broad Street. McGuirk was transferred to the Warwick Police Department.

At 5:37 p.m. on May 5, Cranston Police arrested Elaine Sheffield, 81, of 49A Cowesett Ave., Apt. 19, West Warwick, on a Cranston warrant of Obtaining Vehicles with Intent to Defraud as the result of the subject turning herself in. Sheffield was arraigned by a Bail Commissioner and released.

At 11:20 a.m. on May 3, Cranston Police arrested Tajah Manning, 45, of 50 Marietta St., Providence, on a Third District Court Bench Warrant. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop. Manning was transported to Third District Court for arraignment.

At 8:42 a.m. on May 3, Cranston Police arrested William Jordan, 29, of 14 Paradise Lane, Johnston, on a Cranston Police Department A&A warrant for Violation of Family Court Restraining Order. The arrest was the result of William Jordan turning himself in at headquarters. Jordan was transported to Third District Court for arraignment.

At 7:12 a.m. on May 3, Cranston Police arrested Joseph Domenico, 42, of 9 Oakwood Drive, Cranston, on a Cranston Police Department A&A warrant for Larceny under $1,500. The arrest was the result of Joseph Domenico turning himself in at headquarters. Domenico was transported to Third District Court for arraignment.

 

DISORDERLY CONDUCT

At 12:26 a.m. on May 3, Cranston Police arrested Emmanuel Ramos, 37, of 1229 Plainfield St., Apt. 123, Johnston, on charges of Domestic Disorderly Conduct. The arrest was the result of a disturbance at 28 Cedar St. Ramos awaited arraignment.

At 3:09 p.m. on May 7, Cranston Police arrested Dylan Barron, 22, of 62 Oak Hill Drive, Cranston, on charges of Domestic Disorderly Conduct. The arrest was the result of a disturbance at the aforementioned address. Barron was arraigned by the Justice of the Peace.

 

 

INJURY OR TAMPERING WITH MOTOR VEHICLE

At 3:11 a.m. on May 3, Cranston Police arrested Peter Hazard, 48, of 30 Howard Ave., Cranston, on charges of Injury or Tampering with Motor Vehicle and Larceny Under $1,500. The arrest was the result of a call for service in the area of 639 Laurel Hill Ave. Hazard awaited arraignment.

 

DRUG POSSESSION

At 11:01 a.m. on March 7, Cranston Police arrested Deon J. Pratt, 20, of 14 Black Berry Knoll Way, Apt. 2, Johnston on charges of Possession of Schedule II & Possession of Schedule IV as a result of a suspicious person call at 85 Briggs St. Pratt awaited arraignment as violator.

At 8:30p.m. on May 2, Cranston Police arrested General Washington, 31, of 37 Lynch St., Apt. 4, Providence, on charges of Manufacturing/Possession/Delivery Schedule I/II (Crack-Cocaine), Manufacturing/Possession/Delivery Schedule I/II (Fentanyl) and Controlled Substance Conspiracy. The arrest was the result of a pickup on an arrest and affidavit warrant at Providence Police Department. Washington was arraigned by the Justice of the Peace and transported to ACI Intake.

 

STOLEN VEHICLE

At 5:45 p.m. on May 7, Cranston Police arrested William Parenteau, 54, of 355 Hardig Road, Apt. C207, Warwick, on charges of Possession of Stolen Motor Vehicle. The arrest was the result of a Flock hit in the area of Cranston Street and Lincoln Avenue. Parenteau was arraigned by the Justice of the Peace and transported to ACI Intake.

At 9:20 a.m. on May 7, Cranston Police arrested Robert Vezina, 34, of 319 Providence St., West Warwick, on charges of Possession of a Stolen Motor Vehicle as a result of a Flock hit at 190 Hillside Road. Vezina awaited Arraignment as violator.

At 8:31 a.m. on May 5, Cranston Police arrested Chance W. McKinney, 21, of 19 Brooks St., Cranston, on charges of Possession of Stolen Motor Vehicle as a result of a Flock hit at Plainfield Pike. McKinney was transferred to Third District Court for arraignment.

At 7:10 p.m. on May 1, Cranston Police arrested Taylor Pires, 27, of 4 Crown St., Providence, on charges of Possession of Stolen Motor Vehicle. The arrest was the result of a Flock hit in the area of Reservoir Avenue and Pleasant Street. Pires was arraigned by the Justice of the Peace.

 

STOLEN GOODS

At 11:42 a.m. on May 8, Cranston Police arrested Israel Evans, 54, of 3455 Baytree St., Vacherie, Louisiana, on charges of Receiving Stolen Goods as a result of a Flock hit at Lowe’s on Garfield Avenue. Evans was arraigned by the Justice of the Peace.
