At 1:47 a.m. on May 7, Cranston Police arrested Joseph Ferreira III, 39, of 23 Aldrich Ave., Apt. 1, Cranston, on charges of DUI – BAC Unknown (first offense), Driving with a Suspended License (third or greater offense) and Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test. The arrest was the result of a traffic crash at Oaklawn and New London Avenue. Ferreira was held overnight awaiting morning arraignment.

The arrest was the result of a call for a vehicle that had driven onto a lawn, struck a mailbox, fled the scene and subsequent traffic stop at Oaklawn and Wilbur Avenue. At 10:37 p.m. on May 3, Cranston Police arrested Dean S. Lozow, 66, of 219 Grand Ave., Apt. 19, Cranston, on charges of willful trespass after warning, simple assault and resisting arrest. The arrest was the result of an investigation at 40 Glen Ave. Lozow awaited arraignment.

SHOPLIFTING

At 5:02 p.m. on May 7, Cranston Police arrested Christina Paliotti, 31, of 24 Lakeview Drive, Narragansett, on charges of Felony Shoplifting. The arrest was the result of a call for service at Bob’s Store on Oaklawn Avenue. Paliotti was arraigned by the Justice of the Peace and transported to ACI Women’s Intake.

At 2 a.m. on May 9, Cranston Police arrested Ryan Tellier, 46, of 17 Clinton St., Taunton, Massachusetts, on a Cranston Police arrest warrant for shoplifting (felony). The arrest was the result of a Rhode Island State Police arrest. Tellier awaited arraignment.
