SHOPLIFTING

At 1:32 p.m. on March 21, Cranston Police arrested Damian Bullock, 33, of 33 Clifford St., Hartford, Connecticut, on charges of Shoplifting, Conspiracy and Receiving Stolen Goods. The arrest was the result of a call for service at TJ Maxx on Chapel View Drive. Bullock was arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and released.

At 1:32 p.m. on March 21, Cranston Police arrested Victoria Stephenson, 28, of 106 Hillcrest Ave., West Hartford, Connecticut, on charges of Shoplifting, Conspiracy and Receiving Stolen Goods. The arrest was the result of a call for service at TJ Maxx on Chapel View Drive. Stephenson was arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and released.

At 6:15 p.m. on March 21, Cranston Police arrested Amanda Fortes, 32, of 26 Alice St., East Providence, on charges of Shoplifting. The arrest was the result of a call for service at Stop & Shop on Garfield Avenue. Fortes was arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and released.

At 8:40 a.m. on March 21, Cranston Police arrested Jose F. Garcia Hernandez, 31, of 95 Ring St., Apt. 3, Providence, on charges of Shoplifting as a result of a shoplifting call at Lowe’s on Garfield Avenue. Hernandez awaited arraignment.

VANDALISM

At 2:01 p.m. on March 19, Cranston Police arrested Catherine Bishop, 42, of 101 Stony Acre Dr., Cranston, on charges of Domestic Vandalism and Domestic Disorderly. The arrest was the result of a call for service at 101 Stony Acre Drive. Bishop was transported to Rhode Island Hospital.

SEX OFFENDER

At 3:45 a.m. on March 19, Cranston Police arrested Mark Wilson, 52, of 30 Howard Ave., Cranston, on charges of a Sex Offender Address Change. The arrest was the result of a pick-up at Newport Police Department. Wilson was held overnight as a probation violator.

DAMAGE TO ATTENDED VEHICLE

At 8:12 p.m. on March 18, Cranston Police arrested Roland Bernier, 37, of 234 Ausdale Road, Cranston, on charges of Duty to Stop with Damage to an Attended Vehicle and Driving with a Suspended License (third and subsequent offense) as the result of a motor vehicle accident investigation on Gansett Avenue. Bernier was summoned to appear.

LARCENY

At 9:46 a.m. on March 18, Cranston Police arrested a juvenile female for Larceny Under $1,500, Receiving Stolen Goods, Simple Assault, Disorderly Conduct & Resisting Legal or Illegal Arrest as a result of a larceny call at Cranston East on Park Avenue. The youth was released to their parent.

ASSAULT

At 3:21 a.m. on March 18, Cranston Police arrested Charles Segal, 27, of 1336 Cranston St., Apt. 2L Cranston, on charges of Domestic Simple Assault and Domestic Disorderly Conduct. The arrest was the result of a disturbance call at the aforementioned address. Segal was held for arraignment.

At 3:17 p.m. on March 15, Cranston Police arrested Dabriana Ventura, 20, of 293 Vermont Ave., Apt. 1, Providence, on charges of Domestic Simple Assault. The arrest was the result of a call for service at 32 Parkman St. Ventura was arraigned by the Justice of the Peace.

At 9:17 a.m. on March 14, Cranston Police arrested Rafael Marte, 53, of 787 Potters Ave., Providence, on charges of Simple Assault & Disorderly Conduct as a result of a physical disturbance call at Edge Fitness on Garfield Avenue. Marte was transferred to Third District Court.

WARRANT

At 11:30 a.m. on March 21, Cranston Police arrested Jesaiah Clemmons, 18, of 65 Boyden St., Apt. 1, Woonsocket, on a Woonsocket Police Department Arrest Warrant as a result of a warrant pick-up at 1301 Elmwood Ave. Clemmons was transferred to the Woonsocket Police Department.

At 12:14 a.m. on March 18, Cranston Police arrested Marcus Jackson Jr., 21, of 144 Rutherglen Ave., Providence, on an Arrest and Affidavit Warrant issued by Providence Police Department. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Reservoir Avenue. Jackson was turned over to Providence Police.

At 1:25 p.m. on March 17, Cranston Police arrested John Dasilva, 54, of 240 California Ave., Providence, on a Warrant of Arrest on Affidavit from East Providence. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop. Dasilve was turned over to East Providence Police Department’s Custody.

At 1:25 p.m. on March 17, Cranston Police arrested Michael Andrews, 45, of 240 California Ave., Providence, on a Third District Court Bench Warrant. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop. Andrews was transported to Third District Court.

At 10:49 a.m. on March 16, Cranston Police arrested Raphael Lassiter, 37, of 25 Tobey St., Providence, on a Sixth District Court Bench Warrant. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop. Lassiter was transported to Sixth District Court.

At 1:33 a.m. on March 15, Cranston Police arrested Jenassa Martins, 28, of 40 Nuna St., Providence, on Superior Court Bench warrants (two). The arrest was the result of a traffic stop at Cranston Street and Sumner Avenue. Martins was transferred to ACI Women’s Intake.

At 11:14 a.m. on March 14, Cranston Police arrested Daniel Rivera, 39, of 30 Howard Ave., Cranston, on a Cranston Police Warrant for Sexual Offender Address Change as a result of a warrant pick-up by Rhode Island State Police. Rivera was transferred to Third District Court.

DISORDERLY  CONDUCT

At 9:26 p.m. on March 15, Cranston Police arrested James Yelle, 30, of 26 Kimball Ave., Apt. 3, Pawtucket, on charges of Disorderly Conduct. The arrest was the result of a call for service at Park Avenue’s Pub on Park. Yelle was arraigned by the Justice of the Peace.

OBSTRUCTING  OFFICER

At 8:33 a.m. on March 15, Cranston Police arrested Cheyla Vasquez, 21, of 57 Maplewood Ave., second floor, Cranston, on charges of Obstructing Officer in Execution of Duty. The arrest was the result of an arrest and affidavit warrant issued by this department and the assistance of the Visa Free Transit Facility. Vasquez was transported to Third District Court.

PROTECTIVE ORDERS VIOLATION

At 8:33 a.m. on March 15, Cranston Police arrested Erik O’Neil, 41, of 85 Fiat Ave., Cranston, on Violation of Protective Orders (Third/Subsequent). The arrest was the result of this subject turning himself in on an arrest and affidavit warrant issued by this department. O’Neil was transported to Third District Court.

DUI

At 11:51 p.m. on March 21, Cranston Police arrested Mynor Rodriguez, 26, of 313 Central St., Providence, on charges of DUI – BAC unknown (first offense) and driving without a license as the result of a call for an erratic operator on Plainfield Street in the area of Fletcher Avenue. Rodriguez awaited arraignment.
