NO CONTACT ORDER VIOLATION

At 7:20 p.m. on March 27, Cranston Police arrested Elizandro Mendez, 20, of 275 Narragansett St., Cranston, on charges of a Violation of No Contact Order. The arrest was the result of an investigation with DCYF. Mendez was transported to ACI Intake as a probation violator.

DUI

At 12:09 a.m. on March 29, Cranston Police arrested Jason Williams, 31, of 128 Maplewood Ave., Apt. 2, Cranston, on charges of DUI >.15 or greater (BAC readings .195 and.192). The arrest was the result of a call for a motor vehicle accident in the area of Gansett Avenue and Duckworth Street. Williams awaited arraignment.

At 8:44 p.m. on March 27, Cranston Police arrested Melissa Blais, 39, of 40 Brady Ave., Cranston, on charges of DUI – BAC >.15 or greater (.208 and .210 readings). The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle accident in the area of Broad Street and Wheeler Avenue. Blais was arraigned by the Justice of the Peace.

 

WARRANT

At 1:04 a.m. on March 27, Cranston Police arrested Sylvester Medeiros, 42, of 12 Cedar St., Cranston on an arrest warrant from Providence Police for aggravated assault with a knife. The arrest was the result of a car stop at 1370 Cranston St. Medeiros was turned over to Providence Police.

At 9:35 p.m. on March 25, Cranston Police arrested Jerome Jones, 43, of 30 Howard Ave., Cranston, on a Superior Court bench warrant. The arrest was the result of an attempted pickup at the aforementioned address. Jones was transported to ACI Intake.

At 11:15 a.m. on March 25, Cranston Police arrested Gregg J. Trexler, 48, no address, for a Superior Court Bench Warrant as a result of a suspicious person call at 1545 Pontiac Ave. Trexler was transferred to Superior Court.

At 11:39 a.m. on March 25, Cranston Police arrested Robert Magliocco, 73, of 175 Elwyn St., Cranston, on a Warwick Police Arrest Warrant as a result of a traffic accident at 97 Fletcher Ave. Magliocco was transferred to the Warwick Police Department.

At 12:31 p.m. on March 23, Cranston Police arrested Yoni Molina, 23, of 63 Dora St., Providence, on a Warrant of Arrest on Affidavit. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop. Molina was turned over to the Providence Police Department.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT

At 4:40 p.m. on March 27, Cranston Police arrested Ronald Hunold, 26, of 249 Draper Ave., Apt. B, Warwick, on charges of disorderly conduct. The arrest was the result of a disturbance call at Miller’s Crossing on Bald Hill Road Hunold awaited arraignment.

At 1:34 a.m. on March 27, Cranston Police arrested Frysley Funentes, 31, of 88 Lookout Ave., Cranston, on charges of domestic disorderly conduct and domestic simple assault. The arrest was the result of a disturbance at the aforementioned address. Funentes awaited arraignment.

At 1:07 a.m. on March 23, Cranston Police arrested Benjamin Bourque, 41, of 1621 Elmwood Ave., Apt. 2, Cranston, on charges of Disorderly Conduct. The result of the arrest was from a disturbance call at 1621 Elmwood Ave., Apt 2. In Cranston. Bourque awaited arraignment.

 

SHOPLIFTING

At 4:25 p.m. on March 25, Cranston Police arrested Geraldo Gonzalez, 52, of 160 Broad St., Providence, on charges of Shoplifting, Obstructing Officer in Execution of Duty, a Sixth District Court bench warrant and Superior Court bench warrant (two). The arrest was the result of a call for service at Stop & Shop on Garfield Avenue. Gonzalez was arraigned by the Justice of the Peace and transported to ACI Intake.

At 11:59 p.m. on March 25, Cranston Police arrested Rosemarie Miguel, 56, of 9 Parkis Ave., Apt. G6, Providence, on charges of Shoplifting as a result of a shoplifting call at Walmart on Plainfield Pike. Miguel awaited arraignment.

 

VANDALISM

At 2:39 a.m. on March 25, Cranston Police arrested Alana Montiero, 26, of 25 Dennis Ave., Cranston, on charges of Domestic-Vandalism/Malicious Injury to Property and Domestic-Disorderly Conduct. The arrest was the result of a disturbance at 25 Dennis Ave., Cranston. Montiero was transported to Third District Court.

STOLEN VEHICLE

At 8:47 a.m. on March 24, Cranston Police arrested Robert Gustafson, 43, of 12 Staghead Parkway, Pascoag, on charges of Possession of Stolen Vehicle/Parts and Conspiracy. The arrest was the result of Gustafson turning himself in at headquarters. Gustafson was transported to Third District Court.

SUSPENDED LICENSE

At 4:57 p.m. on March 23, Cranston Police arrested Allen Stefflin, 53, of 39 Monson Ave., Johnston, on charges of driving on a suspended license. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Webster Avenue. Stefflin was summoned and released at the scene.

CYBERSTALKING

At 9 a.m. on March 23, Cranston Police arrested Nikolas Dixon, 26, of 16 Bettez St., West Warwick, on charges of Domestic Cyberstalking and Domestic Disorderly Conduct. The arrest was the result of Dixon turning himself in at headquarters. Dixon was transported to Third District Court.

ASSAULT

At 5:59 p.m. on March 22, Cranston Police arrested Tricia Stone, 48, of 128 Pontiac Ave., Cranston, on charges of Domestic Simple Assault and refusal to relinquish a telephone. The arrest was the result of an arrest warrant for a prior incident. Stone was arraigned by the Justice of the Peace.

SUSPENDED REGISTRATION

At 9:20 p.m. on March 10, Johnston Police Officer Thomas Santurri was on a fixed post when he observed a vehicle turn left onto Killingly Street from Elm Street, allegedly without using a turn signal.

The vehicle was stopped and the driver identified as Rigoberto Gomez, 75 Elm St., Apt. 4, Johnston. A background check revealed the vehicle’s registration was suspended, and Gomez had an active warrant out of the Cranston Police Department for Felony Assault. 

Gomez was taken into custody, and Cranston Police Officer Cooper responded to the scene to take custody of Gomez. The vehicle was towed form the scene. 

Gomez was issued a court summons for Operation of Vehicle when Registration is Suspended and Turn Signal Required.
