NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Proposed Zone Change
(1369 & 0 Park Avenue)

There will be a Public Hearing to consider a proposed amendment, Ordinance No. 7-21-10 to the Zoning Ordinance and the Official Zoning Map to change the zoning for certain property located on 1369 and 0 Park Avenue and known as Assessor’s Plat 11-1, Lots 273 & 4062 (the “Property”) as zoned C-3.  The subject properties are depicted on the enclosed map.

The applicant is requesting a change of zone for Assessor’s Plat 11-1, Lots 273 & 4062 (the “Property”) from C-3) to C-2 Conditional Zoning (density up to eight housing units). The application states that the property is to be used for “Residential Condominiums”.

The public hearing will be held on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at 6:30 pm before the Ordinance Committee in the Cranston City Hall Council Chambers, 869 Park Ave., Cranston RI and via Zoom Webinar by logging into the link below or by phone by calling any of the numbers listed below:

The matter will also be heard by the Planning Commission on Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at 6:30 p.m.  All hearings will be held at Cranston City Hall Council Chamber, 869 Park Avenue, Cranston, RI.  Notice is hereby given pursuant to R.I.L.G. 45-24-53.

The full text of this Ordinance and documents for this application are available from the Office of the City Clerk and the Planning Department, Cranston City Hall, 869 Park Avenue, Cranston, R.I. and at the Cranston Central Library, Sockanosset Crossroads, Cranston, R.I.

Pursuant to R.I.G.L. 45-23-53(A)(5), these proposed regulations may be altered or amended prior to the close of the public hearing without further advertising, as a result of further study or because of the views expressed at the public hearing, provided that any such alteration or amendment must be presented for comment in the course of the public hearing.

All persons interested in the above are requested to be present at the time and place to be heard thereon or via Zoom Webinar.
