NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Proposed Zone Change
(0 Bedson Road)

There will be a Public Hearing to consider a proposed amendment, Ordinance No. 4-23-01 to the Zoning Ordinance and the Official Zoning Map to change the zoning for certain property located on 0 Bedson Road and known as Assessor’s Plat 4, Lots 2606-2609 (the “Property”) as zoned as follows: C-5.  The subject property is depicted on the enclosed map.

The applicant is requesting a change of zone for Assessor’s Plat 4,  Lots 2606-1609 from C-5 to C-5 with Commercial Flex Overlay Space (the “Property”).  The application states that the property is to be used for “Commercial Flex Overlay Space”.

The public hearing will be held on Thursday, June 15, 2023 at 6:30 pm before the Ordinance Committee in the Cranston City Hall Council Chambers, 869 Park Ave., Cranston RI and via Zoom Webinar by logging into the link below or by phone by calling any of the numbers listed below:

  The matter will also be heard by the Planning Commission on Tuesday, June 6, 2023 at 6:30 p.m.  All hearings will be held at Cranston City Hall Council Chamber, 869 Park Avenue, Cranston, RI.  Notice is hereby given pursuant to R.I.L.G. 45-24-53.

The full text of this Ordinance and documents for this application are available from the Office of the City Clerk and the Planning Department, Cranston City Hall, 869 Park Avenue, Cranston, R.I. and at the Cranston Central Library, Sockanosset Crossroads, Cranston, R.I.

Pursuant to R.I.G.L. 45-23-53(A)(5), these proposed regulations may be altered or amended prior to the close of the public hearing without further advertising, as a result of further study or because of the views expressed at the public hearing, provided that any such alteration or amendment must be presented for comment in the course of the public hearing.

All persons interested in the above are requested to be present at the time and place to be heard thereon or via Zoom Webinar.
