The congregation of Trinity Episcopal Church in Pawtuxet celebrated World Peace Day Sunday. A highlight of the service was a 5-foot World Peace Pole, the creation of parish children. The pole featured photos of its creators and was the prop for comments by Karl Hurtubise. The students handed out World Peace Day cards. The parish is also celebrating the arrival of the Rev. Tanya Watt, the new priest in charge. Pictured around the pole are Edsel Ford, Evan Medeiros, Eastyn Medeiros, Miles Makin, Clara Markin, Chloe Germani and Violet Umstadter. (Submitted photo)
