Twin sisters Maris and Sofia Rengigas, who live in Johnston with the parents Jams and Ekaterina, are members of the Church of the Annunciation’s famed member Odyssey Dance Troupe. That crew entertained crowds with five different performances during last weekend’s 34th annual Cranston Greek Festival. The group, which was founded by Koula Rougas back in 1984 and is under the direction of Dr. Savva Rougas, is made up of 80 members who perform traditional dances of ancient times in costumes that represent various regions in Greece.
