Robert E. Valentini, age 93, of Warwick, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, November 20, 2022. He was the loving husband of Carmela M. “Connie” (Rossi) Valentini.
Born in Providence, a son of the late Roberto F. and Gelsomina (DiCarlo) Valentini, he lived in Warwick since 1966. He was a graduate of Classical High School in Providence and was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. He was employed by the Federal government for over 25 years.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Robert F. Valentini of Cranston and Michael P. Valentini of Warwick; two grandsons, Roberto F. Valentini and Gianni A. Valentini; and a brother, Walter R. Valentini of Mount Airy, MD. He was the brother of the late Norma V. Pinelli and Vivian Ricci. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
His funeral will be held on Friday, November 25, at 10 a.m. from the Barrett & Cotter Funeral Home, 1328 Warwick Avenue, Spring Green, Warwick, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St. Kevin Church, 333 Sandy Lane, Warwick. Relatives and friends are invited, and may visit at the funeral home on Friday from 9 - 10 a.m. Burial will be in the St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
