The Cranston East boys soccer team fell to 1-3-1 last week when it was shut out by host East Greenwich 5-0.
East keeper Saeed Sorio finished the day with eight saves in relief.
The team’s previous game was a 2-1 loss to Johnston. Fabricio Mariscal scored the Bolts’ lone goal while Aaron Morales recorded the assist. Alvaro Ortega-Reyes finished with 13 saves in net.
East took on Mt. Pleasant on Tuesday, but the results were not available at press time.
West 3, Cumberland 1
The Falcons picked up their first win of the fall with a victory over Cumberland last weekend.
Gabriel Fajardo, Alejandro Molina and Parker Inocencio all scored for West while Ty Jiminez and Nick Ayala picked up assists. Jack Payne finished with 13 saves in net for West.
GIRLS SOCCER
West 2, North Kingstown 1
The Falcons picked up a big DI win over the Skippers. Saniyya Chase and Harper Cohn scored for the Falcons while keeper Oceanna Orlandi racked up 16 saves in net.
GIRLS VOLLEYBALL
Middletown 3, West 2
Sarah Crowley led the Falcons in their loss to the Islanders, finishing with 12 kills.
