The Cranston West boys volleyball team edged visiting Lincoln 3-1 to advance to this weekend’s state championship game.
Christian Mak finished the day with 19 kills and 15 digs while Chris Harvey racked up 16 kills. Ashton Mak led the way with 33 assists.
East 3, East Greenwich 0
The Bolts punched their tickets to the DI semis with a sweep over visiting East Greenwich last week. Caleb Xum led the team in assists while Charles Lora led the way in kills.
SOFTBALL
West 10, Pilgrim 5
The West softball team bounced back from a loss to La Salle to beat Pilgrim and remain in the Division I playoffs.
Sam Healy had a big game at the plate for West as she racked up six RBI on three hits. Nicole Silvestri also drove in two runs in the win.
Mia Crudale got the win in the circle, pitching all seven innings and allowing two earned runs and striking out six batters.
BASEBALL
North Kingstown 4, East 3
The Skippers ousted the Bolts from the Division I playoffs last week.
Carlos Merejo, Jayden Tolentino and Tony Defusco all knocked in runs on offense.
