The Cranston West football team wrapped up its regular season with a 26-0 shutout win over East Greenwich last week.
Quarterback Kelan Cornell connected with Adrian Samayoa for a touchdown while Anthony Salas rushed for another. Adalino Aceto returned an interception for a touchdown while Ethan Parent also hauled in an interception.
The Falcons finished the season at 2-4.
BOYS SOCCER
West 1, Chariho 0
The Falcons shut out Chariho to clinch the No. 3 seed in the upcoming Division II playoffs. Parker Inocencio scored the team’s lone goal while keeper Anthony DeLuca made one stop in net.
Shea 1, East 0
The Bolts fell to the Raiders in a 1-0 loss last week. East goalie Brandon Natareno finished the day with 13 stops.
GIRLS SOCCER
East 1, Saint Ray’s 1
Maddie Gallo scored the Bolts’ lone goal in their tie to St. Ray’s in the season finale last week. Isabella Dupret finished with 18 saves in net.
