James Thomas Ryan, Jr., 94, of West Warwick, passed away on Tuesday, July 4, 2023. Born in Pawtucket, he was the son of James T. Ryan Sr. and Mary (Mullen) Ryan.
James was a Postal Supervisor for the US Postal Service and was a member of the Wm Shields Post-American Legion and served in the US Army. He was an avid golfer until he was the age of 92 and was a longtime volunteer at Kent Hospital for many years.
He is survived by his beloved children, William J. Ryan (Janette) of Peabody, Ks, Kathleen M. Nottell (John) of Warwick, Patricia A. Keenan (Bob) of West Warwick, Six grandchildren, Eleven great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his son Michael P. Ryan and his siblings, Richard Ryan, and Joan Lakey.
His Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, July 8, 2023, at 11:00AM at THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Warwick. Interment will follow at All Saints Cemetery, Warwick.
Visitation will be held prior to the service from 9:00AM-11:00AM
