Each weekend, Garden City Center and Avvio Ristorante will feature a new local brewery outside on the grounds of the Gazebo as part of Beer Garden City.

There will be a rotating lineup of local breweries participating in the family (and dog) friendly beer garden, along with games, live music and bites from Avvio.

Last week’s first night featured Grey Sail Brewing of Westerly. The upcoming schedule includes Narragansett Beer from Sept. 10-12, Newport Craft Brewing from Sept.17-19 and Whalers Brewing Company from Sept. 24-26.

Beer Garden City’s hours are Fridays from 4 to 8 p.m., Saturdays from 1 to 8 p.m. and Sundays from 1 to 7 p.m. The events are open to the public with no cover charge. Seating is available on a first come, first served basis, and operating hours will be weather permitting. Customers must show a valid ID in order to purchase an alcoholic beverage.
