History-making walk has Rhode Island connection
Rhode Island Congressman David Cicilline and other members of the U.S. House of Representatives deliver an article of impeachment against former President Donald Trump to the U.S. Senate on Monday evening. Trump, the only president in history to be impeached by the House twice, is charged with “incitement of insurrection.” The delivery of the article triggers the process for a trial in the Senate, during which Cicilline will serve as one of the House impeachment managers. Cicilline is also one of the co-authors of the article of impeachment. (Courtesy of the office of Congressman David Cicilline)
