A waterfront Victorian home in Edgewood recently sold for $1.25 million, according to a local real estate firm, making it the “highest single-family sale in Cranston since 2017.”
In a statement, Residential Properties Ltd. offers the following description of the 42 Bluff Ave. property:
“Originally built in 1904, this spectacular waterfront property with a private pool and lush landscaping has been well preserved and maintained by the same owner for 56 years. The home offers stunning 180-degree views of Narragansett Bay from its wraparound porch, while across the lovely sloped backyard sit a private dock and boat house. The first floor boasts two fireplaces and original, intact stained glass windows. Each room is spacious and bright, with the original character wonderfully preserved. A completely renovated kitchen, new third floor bath with on-demand hot water heating system, and detached two-car garage all lend to the fabulous modern amenities of this classic home.”
