A new Burger King has recently opened at 1155 Pontiac Ave., and Mayor Ken Hopkins officially welcomed the restaurant to the local business community with a ribbon-cutting ceremony last week. Pictured are Trisha Feather, district leader; Janey Isaacson, payroll and benefits administrator; Steven Vann, president; Jamie Cline, district leader; Michelle Milos, district leader; Hopkins; Franklin Paolino, Cranston’s economic development director; Nicoletta Cammilleri, marketing manager; Krista Valles, restaurant leader; and Thomas Barbieri, principal of Cranston High School West. The Burger King is owned and operated by JSC Marketing Group. The location presented Cranston West with a donation, as Burger King did with Cranston East when it opened a location on Reservoir Avenue. (Herald photo by Steve Popiel)
