Ohanga welcomed during ‘Heart to Art’
Recently, people gathered to join in some fun at the newest pop-up in Garden City Center, Ohanga, as part of the “Heart to Art” reception.
The event served as a special opportunity to meet the creative individuals whose brilliant work opens hearts, inspires minds, and shapes the human soul.
Along with a traditional ribbon-cutting ceremony, attendees also enjoyed appetizers and musical entertainment from Danny Turiok.
Ohanga, which means “nest,” is a Rhode Island start-up founded in May 2020 with the mission of celebrating creativity and the vision to reconnect communities with their local creative economy. Relying heavily on storytelling to re-educate consumers on the significance of handmade or locally sourced products, the Garden City Center location is Ohanga’s second in-person retail store, after the first one opened in Newport.
Ohanga Garden City is a showroom and experience center that elevates sustainable home and living choices with brands that are curated by the Ohanga Team, run by its creative partners, and verified as local, sustainable and fair trade.
