On Dec. 18, the OneCranston Health Equity Zone and Governor Sprague Mansion partnered to deliver a holiday Stress Down Day. The OC-HEZ is a community collaborative backed by the Rhode Island Department of Health and CCAP. They put on a monthly Stress Down Day with activities one can do in their own home to take a moment for fun. Included in the bags are also pandemic essentials such as masks and hand sanitizer. This month’s Stress Down Day included hot chocolate, make your own holiday cards, and cookie decorating kits. The Sprague Mansion hosted as the pick-up place, as well as allowing people to walk the beautiful grounds, making snow angels and taking family photos in front of the holiday tree sponsored by Ward 3 Councilman John Donegan. Pictured are Ivy Swinski and Kayland Arring at the front of Sprague Mansion. Stay tuned to the Cranston Health Equity Zone Facebook page for information about future events, and contact Ivy Swinski at iswinski@comcap.org for more information. (Submitted photo)
