A new kind of Stroll

A NEW WAY TO STROLL: The Tomorrow Fund Stroll had to adapt to a world with COVID-19 but found a creative way of promoting safety and raising funds through the “Care”-A-Van in Garden City Center last Sunday. WHY WE STROLL: Enjoying the sights of the Care-A-Van Stroll for The Tomorrow Fund this past Sunday was Kevin Gallagher, a Tomorrow Fund child, with his mother, Kasey.

STROLL MARSHAL: Leading pack, behind the Cranston Police escort, was the Stroll Marshal carrying Olivia Smith, a Tomorrow Fund child, and driven by her father, Matthew, along with her mother, Michelle.

This past weekend, nearly 50 vehicles took part in the first Care-A-Van Stroll in place of the 18th Tomorrow Fund Stroll, which supports children and their families through cancer battles. The pandemic prevented the stroll from being held as usual, so organizers got creative and put together a way for Tomorrow Fund family and friends to get together safely and help raise much-needed funding.
