Tony’s Pizza celebrates 50 years

Tony’s Pizza of Cranston first opened in 1970 and has served the greater Cranston community throughout the years. The original Tony’s of Cranston was located at 514 Pontiac Ave. and later moved to 548 Pontiac Ave. The restaurant is currently located at 531 Pontiac Ave. Pictured are Roula and Chris Mantsos, who have owned the business for the past 30 years. Chris recalls making his first pizza while working at Tony’s Pizza of Pawtucket in 1970. His favorite pizza includes toppings of mushrooms and pepperoni. Tony’s can be reached at 781-1334 and is currently open for take-out.
