Halloween at the YMCA

COMMUNITY OUTING: Bill and Michaela Cook of Cranston participated in the YMCA’s Trunk or Treat. They enjoyed the event and getting to know the community a bit more.

THE WITCHES OF ARAMARK: Volunteering from Aramark, the food service company for the city’s schools, were Renee Bramble, Tricia Wright and Anthony Votto, who eagerly met the children in each car during the Trunk or Treat event.

VAMPIRE BAT MOBILE: Posing in front of a Vampire Bat Mobile trunk were Cranston Police Officer Matt Kite and Kevin Denneny during the YMCA Trunk or Treat event held Friday night.

DRESSED UP FOR THE DRIVE: Lady Liberty, otherwise known as Samantha Grabelle, drove both Little Liberty, a.k.a. Julius Mercure, and pop star Noelle Ingle through the Trunk or Treat at the Cranston YMCA last Friday night.

On Friday evening, the Cranston YMCA held a Children’s Trunk or Treat Halloween event. IAFF Local 1363, which was unable do hold its annual Halloween party at the fire station this year due to COVID-19 restrictions, provided 250 bags of candy for the event at the YMCA. Approximately 185 children visited the drive-thru event, and in addition to candy, they also received bags with items like water bottles, jump ropes, sunglasses, coloring books, Chapstick, sticker sheets, small toys and bubbles.
