University of Rhode Island women’s ice hockey player and former Cranston Thunderbirds standout Abbi Sampson continued to roll this season for the Rams as she added another goal to her stat sheet last week. URI squared off against the Rivier Raiders for a big showdown. Despite URI falling short in a 2-1 decision, Sampson had another strong outing and scored the team’s lone goal.
