Sanford-Brown is known throughout the health care industry as an educator of professionals who have acquired the real-world knowledge and practical skills to fill positions in the growing job industry.

For more than 140 years, they have been helping people develop the skills and gain the confidence they need to pursue the career they want by providing flexible programs, financial aid and hands-on learning approaches designed to prepare students for professional situations

The history of the Sanford-Brown name dates back to 1866 when Rufus C. Crampton, a professor at Illinois College, established a school to meet the demands of post-Civil War America. Today, there are over 30 private colleges and schools bearing the name Sanford-Brown across the United States and the growth and expansion of the network of student-focused, career-centric campuses continues. Sanford Brown entered the Cranston community approximately one year ago.
