Schools commemorate Memorial Day

COLOR CODED: During the Memorial Day Ceremony at Park View, the student body wore different colors of the flag: six grade wore red, seventh grade wore white and eighth grade wore blue.

THE BAND PLAYED ON: Members of the Park View Middle School Band took part in the Memorial Day Ceremony held last Friday.

GREETINGS: Park View Middle School Principal Cheryl Anderson gave greetings at last Friday’s Memorial Day Ceremony at the school.

SPEAKING ABOUT HIS HEROES: Cranston Mayor Ken Hopkins spoke during the Memorial Day Ceremony and told students his father and his father-in-law who both served in WWII.
