INDIANA JONES AND THE DIAL OF DESTINY

Harrison Ford is back as the World War ii Nazi fighter, and he can still give these new, young superheroes a run for their money in spite of his aching bones and grumpy old man persona.

But first we have to go back to a long opening sequence on and inside a train, where a younger Indiana and Brad Shaw (Toby Jones) are attempting to steal back a rare artifact that the Fuhrer wants for his collection. It’s an exciting, action packed moment before the movie slows down to 1969 and Jones in in his 80’s.

Indy times up with student Helena (Phoebe Wallerbridge) who is chasing a time-travel device  that will tie everything together-the titled “Dial of Destiny.”

There are lots of chases and close calls, as Indy looks like he’s going to have a heart attack and at least break some bones.

Let’s hear it for us old folks who can still run through the streets and rooftops of major foreign cities, solve the puzzles with the help of a bit of  time travel and save the world.

We think it is time for Indiana Jones to retire. The Nazi artifact bit has run its course.

The popular Netflix series about witches and witchcraft continues and is fairly easy to catch up on. You may wish to watch the final show of the last season.

Photography is incredible. There is quite a bit of violence, but some importance social messages.
